Holiday Planning

The Holiday season is just around the corner; Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Years. This is the time of year that many people find themselves in debt. Presents, trees, decorations, and feasts. It's the season of giving, but that doesn't mean you have to give too much to your mortgage company. There are a couple of things you can do this season to keep your home debts low, so they can't overwhelm your family the rest of your year.
* First, keep a fixed rate so the interest rate remains the same. These are normally 30 year loans. This is where the loan payment is spread out over 30 years to calculate your monthly payment, and at the end of 5 years be ready to pay the entire unpaid loan balance.
* Also keep you interest rate low by trying the 10-15 year mortgage system which can save you ultimately on your total interest paid.
Note that Adjustable-Rate Mortgages don't have a fixed rate and will adjust periodically.
Keep in mind through the Holiday's Coach Steve's Tips from his Power of Realty Coaching book:
"Buyer beware of negative amortization loans:
if equity is flat, you'll lose on this loan, but if equity is going up, it can be beneficial."

RealtyCoach.net Client Review

Parade of Homes
Hi Everyone;
Just wanted to take the opportunity to invite you to our Parade of Homesat the Salton Sea followed by a van pool tour of 7 builder's homes. Attached are flyers for more detail information. Builders and Realtors have come together to create a NEW SPIRIT at the Sea. If you have not been there lately you will notice a tremendous increase in growth.In Jan-Mar 2007 the State will be announcing it's preferred plan to clean up the sea. At that time we expect an increase in Investor interest. Homes range from low of $185,000 to $350,000.
Realty Coach is representing Marquis Homes. Marquis homes is building the highest quality homes in the area. Our joint marketing efforts target homeowners, investors and the retirement community. The reality of the situation is that retirement homes in the booming Coachella Valley are approaching price points too high for the average retiring person to consider. Therefore there will continue to be a movement toward less expensive quality homes. The sea in the next 10-15 years will become a playground. Two Casinos are in the works along with a quarter-horse race track, and water park. KB homes, and Century Homes have land bank in the Salton Sea area as well for potential development projects in the future. The sea and surrounding areas provide environmental opportunities for exploration and fun as well. Jet Skiing, fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities and partying will be part of the draw.
